Xeriscape by Design, April 4, featuring Joanie Schneider of Sustainescapes, will provide you with the tools to prepare a landscape design for year-round enjoyment, 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, April 4, Senior Center, 1200 Raintree Dr. Learn the landscape designer’s rules of thumb for adding structure and suitable plant selections.

This free program is recommended for residents who plan to sign up for a Xeriscape Design Clinic April 25 and 28. Sponsored by Fort Collins Utilities and the Gardens on Spring Creek, the clinics offer a private, 1½-hour session with a landscape design professional to create a xeriscape plan for a portion of your yard.
