Celebrate the Year of Water. Join Fort Collins Utilities for a free tour of the Poudre River watershed. Learn what it takes to provide an adequate water supply, ensure high-quality water and enhance the ecology of the river—and why it’s important.

Registration is first-come, first-serve with a limit of 50 Fort Collins residents. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Itinerary

Meet at 8 a.m., Utilities Service Center, 700 Wood St. for a presentation, coffee and light breakfast. A bus will take you to Cameron Pass for a walking tour along the Michigan Ditch, followed by lunch (provided). A variety of activities will be held at Gateway Natural Area before returning to the Utilities Service Center by 5 p.m.
