Young drivers are particularly at risk of crashes in Fort Collins. The graphic below shows the number (and percentage) of crashes by age group (blue bars). The picture also shows the percentage of licensed drivers by age group (yellow bars). As you can see there are many more crashes than licensed drivers for drivers age 16 – 24. In fact, 15 – 19 year old drivers are more than five times as likely to be involved in a crash in Fort Collins when considering the number of drivers in that age group.
