Mayor's Teen Awards

The cities of Fort Collins and Loveland are accepting nominations for the third annual Mayors’ Top Teen Awards. The awards are designed to recognize high school students who have achieved one or more of the following: overcome adversity or unique obstacles, provided service to others, or set a positive example.

Ten teens (five each from Fort Collins and Loveland) will be recognized in September at the 2008 Day for Kids, sponsored by Healthier Communities Coalition of Larimer County.

Youth who will enter 10th-12th grade in the Fall of 2008 may be nominated. Nominees must live and/or attend school within Fort Collins city limits. In addition, they should have achieved one or more of the following:

  • Overcome a significant obstacle
  • Set good examples and are positive role models
  • Provide services to others
  • Achieved a significant accomplishment
