NAPA "Quality in Construction" Award (2023)#

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) has awarded Martin Marietta Materials the "Quality in Construction" award for their work in 2023. 

Martin Marietta Materials Rocky Mountain Region, West Div. won the award for the overlay of several roads in Fort Collins, Colo., including Prospect Rd., Drake Rd., Timberline Rd. and Lady Moon Dr. The project included milling, patching, leveling, paving, and striping of the roads. The company included reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) in the project mixes, a sustainable approach to paving that conserves virgin aggregates. One project utilized 30% RAP, one of the first in Colorado to do so. Martin Marietta Materials Rocky Mountain Region, West Div., produced a smooth, high-quality asphalt pavement for area users.

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) has awarded Martin Marietta Materials the "Quality in Construction" award for their work in 2022.

Martin Marietta Materials Rocky Mountain Region, West Div., produced a smooth, high-quality asphalt pavement for area motorists.

CAPA "Best in Colorado" Award (2022)#

The Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association (CAPA) has awarded A-1 Chipseal the Best in Colorado award under the category "Surface Treatment" for their work for the City of Fort Collins 2022 Street Resurfacing Program.

NAPA "Quality in Construction" Award (2021)#

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) has awarded Martin Marietta Materials the "Quality in Construction" award for their work in 2021. 

Martin Marietta won the award for the overlay of Shields Street and Lemay Avenue in Fort Collins. Martin Marietta used 20% reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) in the mixes, a sustainable choice that conserved virgin aggregates and reduced greenhouse emissions. The company produced smooth, high-quality asphalt roads.

CAPA "Best in Colorado" Award (2020)#

The Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association (CAPA) has awarded A-1 Chipseal the Best in Colorado award under the category "Surface Treatment" for their work for the City of Fort Collins 2020 Street Resurfacing Program.

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) has awarded Martin Marietta Materials the "Quality in Construction" award for their work in 2019. 

CAPA "Best in Colorado" Award (2018)#

The Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association (CAPA) has awarded Martin Marietta Materials the Best in Colorado award under the category "City Street Resurfacing" for their work.

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) has awarded Martin Marietta Materials the "Quality in Construction" award for their work in 2018. 

CAPA "Quality in Construction" Award (2017)#

The Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association (CAPA) has awarded Martin Marietta Materials the "Quality in Construction" award for their work on 2017 City of Fort Collins Overlay Projects. The work was on various roads in Fort Collins. The company used various pavement rehabilitation techniques and placed 2 to 3-inch asphalt overlays to improve and protect the roadway infrastructure.

CAPA "Best in Colorado" Award (2015) - Honorable Mention#

Martin Marietta Materials received Honorable Mention for the 2015 "Best in Colorado" awarded by the Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association (CAPA) under the category "City Street New or Reconstructed" for their work on Taft Hill Road (Laporte Avenue to Drake Road).

NAPA "Quality in Construction" Award (2014)#

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) has awarded Martin Marietta Materials the "Quality in Construction" award for their work on the Laporte Avenue project in 2014. The company milled 5 to 7 inches off the existing pavement and then placed 7 inches of new asphalt pavement in three lifts. Work was complicated by the presence of existing manholes, water valves and shallow utilities.

NAPA "Quality in Construction" Award (2013)#

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) has awarded Martin Marietta Materials the "Quality in Construction" award for their work on the Mason Street project in 2013. The company paved at night to minimize delays for vehicle and train traffic, and to decrease the construction impact on local businesses. This work was part of the MAX bus rapid transit system to reroute bus traffic to the Mason Street Corridor to relieve congestion on other streets.
