Middle School Sports

Beginning this year, the City of Fort Collins Recreation Department will offer middle school sports during Fall, Winter and Spring. These sports include: football, softball, cross country, wrestling, girls’ and boys’ basketball and volleyball. Registration for football, softball, cross country, wrestling and girls’ basketball is happening now. Sign your middle school child up today!

The football and softball sports are only for 6th graders. Boys’ and girls’ basketball is for 6-8 graders who did not make their school team. Cross country is for 6-8 graders and wrestling is for 4-6 graders.

Bootcamp 180

We are teaming up with On the run Fitness to offer the most exciting exercise program to hit our area, designed to trim and strengthen your body faster and more effectively than you thought possible. You get access to personal trainers who help you be your best and achieve your personal goals.

X-treme Gym

GRADE: Kindergarten-5
FEE: $5
DATES/TIME: 9/26, 10/17, 11/14, 6:00-8:00pm
LOCATION: Youth Activity Center
X-treme Gym nights will include climbing ropes, obstacle courses, heart-pounding activities and a zip-line! You must pre-register for this kind of fun!

Youth Flag Football Tournament

GRADES: 3-8
FEE: $128/team
DATE: 11/7
LOCATION: Spring Canyon Park
Wrap up the 2009 Football season by getting a team together and playing in this double-elimination flag football tournament! This tournament is your last chance to play on outside football fields before the cold weather puts an end to 2009 Football.

Elementary Dodgeball Night!

GRADE: Kindergarten-5

LOCATION: Youth Activity Center
The night of the YAC Dodgeball Tournament we will break into teams and the play real dodgeball! All participants must be pre-registered.

Youth Indoor Tackle Football League

GRADES: 5-6
FEE: $133
DATE: 11/2-12/18
LOCATION: The Edge Sports Center
6-man tackle football league. Teams will be formed randomly according to weight. All tackle football equipment is provided!

Fall Softball League

LEVELS OF PLAY: Men, Women and Coed
REGISTATION: Begins 7/30, dealine 8/7 or when leagues fill.
FEE: $435/team
LEAGUE: Begins week of 8/24, 8 Games Guaranteed.
NOTE: Rosters are unlimited. Participants ages 16 & 17 need parent signature on roster prior to participation.

Games will be scheduled at Fossil Creek, Lee Martinez, and Rolland Moore Parks. Optic yellow balls will be used. Individual awards will be given for all league winners. Registration information is online or at the Northside Aztlan Community Center.

Flag Football

Play Consists of 8-on-8 with no contact.
NOTE: Rosters are unlimited
AGE: 16+ (ages 16-17 need parent signature on roster prior to participation

FEE: $400/team
LEAGUE: Begins week of 8/24, 8 games

NOTE: Rosters are unlimited. Participants ages 16 & 17 need parent signature on roster prior to participation.

NOTE: Rosters are unlimited. Participants ages 16 & 17 need parent signature on roster prior to participation.

Individual awards will be given for all league winners. Registration information is online or at the Northside Aztlan Community Center.

Officials Wanted

Applications will be taken for sports officials, scorekeepers and supervisors. Positions vary depending on the sport and the season. Interested persons should apply at the Sports Office at 413 S. Bryan Ave.
