Sports

Our youth and adult sports programs benefit thousands of community members per year. A wide variety of opportunities for all ages are available through Recreation's Sports programs. Adults can get active and stay healthy by participating in sports like softball, volleyball, basketball and flag football. Kids can benefit from exercise and learn important social values by participating in sports such as basketball, football, wrestling, cross country, volleyball, and track. Our diverse offerings, dedicated staff and excellent content make sports a valuable community resource.

Flag Football

Date: League begins week of 8/21
Location: Rolland Moore Park
Leagues are 8-on-8 non-contact. Registration begins 5/4, ends 8/11 or when leagues fill. 8 games guaranteed. Register here

Softball

Date: League begins week of 8/20
Age: 16 years and up
Opportunity to continue playing softball after the summer leagues conclude. 8 games guaranteed. Registration begins 5/4, ends 8/11 or when leagues fill. Register for a variety of times and locations for men here, women here, and co-ed teams here

C.A.R.A. Fall Cross Country

Date: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, August 28-October 7  l  5:30-6:45 p.m.
Location: City Park
Age: 6-14 years
Recreational cross country program with practices held twice per week in various parks around Fort Collins. Meets are held in Front Range cities. Fee includes team shirt and fees for meets. Register here.

Lacrosse

Date: Monday-Friday, July 17-21 (9 a.m.-Noon)
Location: Cottonwood Glen Park
Age: 6-12

Learn the fundamentals of stick handling, cradling, passing, and shooting in a fun, non-checking enviroment. Campers also learn to respect, teamwork, and discipline. Skyhawks ensures athletes gain a deep understanding of the game and its traditions.
