Youth Basketball

GRADE: 2-12 (2009-2010)
REGISTATION: 4/16-5/22
COST: $48/player
LEAGUE: Begins week of 6/1
LOCATION: Northside Aztlan Community Center

Formation of teams including a coach, scheduled games, NBA/WNBA reversible replica jerseys, six games, one official minimum for games, and a tournament at the end will be provided for this league. Coaches will have the option to hold one or two practices per week at the designated park.

This league is set up for pre-formed teams that wish to compete. Season will consist of 6 games plus a single elimination tournament. Teams must provide a qualified coach to be on the bench during the games, and teams must wear same colored jerseys with an identifiable number on the back.

AGE: 7-12
REGISTATION: Begins 4/16

DATES: 6/15-6/19 or 7/27-7/31

Players have a great time as they refine their passing, shooting, and dribbling skills. Participants put their newly acquired basketball skills to the test at an end of the week game situation. Participants will receive a Basketball, T-Shirt and Merit Award.

Develop a sense of team play where sportsmanship is stressed; winning is secondary. Teams are formed by school attended and by grade. Two (sometimes one depending on availablity of facilities) practices are scheduled per week (days and times will vary and may go as late as 8:30 PM). Junior high practices will be held in the evenings after 6:00 PM. Practices will not be held during school holidays or closures. Most games are played on Saturdays with the possiblity of some weeknight games.

Girls basketball is played in late fall while boys basketball is played in the winter.

Adult Basketball

LEVELS OF PLAY: Competitive, Recreational
REGISTATION: Begins 4/16, deadline 5/22 or when leagues fill.
REGISTRATION NUMBER: 86326-01 (competitive) or 86326-02 (Recreational)
COST: $345/team
LEAGUE: Friday nights starting 6/5, 6 games
LOCATION: Northside Aztlan Community Center
NOTE: Rosters are unlimited. Participants ages 16 & 17 need parent signature on roster prior to participation.

Come join our ladies who have been running ball for years strong! This recreational night is designated just for you to lace up and get your run in for the night! Appropriate for ages 18 and up. Located at the Northside Aztlan Community Center. Every Thursday from 6:00-7:00 PM. Drop-in fees apply.
