City of Fort Collins, Downtown Development Authority (DDA), and Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) staff have selected a project consultant team including specialists in intersection design, traffic analysis, multi-modal travel, streetscape design, and parking to begin detailed analysis and design of this important travel corridor within our community. We are pleased to report that the City has hired a team of professionals from PBS&J to assist staff with the process of transforming Jefferson Street into a vibrant and active corridor for businesses, residents, and tourists alike.

The Downtown River District Streetscape Improvements Project, approved in 2008, will serve as the foundation for the study. Improvement(s) developed as part of this project will then advance to preliminary and final engineering.
