Restorative Justice Youth Conferencing and The RESTORE Program for shoplifting are funded by a grant from the Colorado Department of Public Safety and a grant from the local Bohemian Foundation. The grants provide for a half-time coordinator and a half-time case manager for the program.
The grants were written and received by the City of Fort Collins Police Services as part of the department's community outreach efforts. In addition, offenders who participate in the program pay a $50 fee, which helps pay for operational costs.
