General Information

Aerosol cans can be mixed in with food and beverage steel (tin-coated) cans for curbside collection. For recyclability and safety, cans must be completely empty of all contents, the cap (lid) must be removed (if it is the type that is easily removable), and the nozzle should be left of the can. Don't include: cans containing any remaining product. To dispose of unused hazardous products (e.g. pesticides) call Larimer County Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 498-5760.

Call your local scrap metal dealer. Some may accept if properly prepared.

Curbside recycling is available for this material. Contact your trash hauler for more information.
