Sports

Our youth and adult sports programs benefit thousands of community members per year. A wide variety of opportunities for all ages are available through Recreation’s Sports programs. Adults can get active and stay healthy by participating in sports like softball, volleyball, basketball and flag football. Kids can benefit from exercise and learn important social values by participating in sports such as basketball, football, wrestling, Cross Country volleyball and Track. Our diverse offerings, dedicated staff and excellent content make sports a valuable community resource.

Cheer Classes and Summer Cheer Camp

TCDC Cheerleading teaches the basics of dance, cheer motions, jumps, stunts, and tumbling skills in a safe, high-energy atmosphere. A local performance ends each session.Classes are coached by The Cheer and Dance Connection Staff. Classes begin May 17 and there are sessions through September.

Summer Cheer Camp
Enhance your cheerleading skills in a week-long summer camp from June 11-15.

Classes and camps are for ages 5-14 years. Register online here and search for "cheer".

Youth Flag Football (PDF)

Learn the fundamentals of football, teamwork, and sportsmanship through non-contact, continuous action. Grades K-8. Teams are divided by grade level. Official NFL jersey included! Cost: $83

Fall Youth Tackle Football

It’s time to get rough. Tackle football practices are held 2‒3 times per week with games on Saturday mornings or week nights. Teams formed by weight, practice area, and grade level. Cost: $109

 

Register for grades 3/4, grade 5, and grade 6.

Fall Volleyball

Adult Volleyball
September 5-October 26
Coed and women's leagues are offered for 6-person teams. Teams sign up for their level of play and night preference on a first come basis. Registration begins 7/21 and ends 8/12 or when leagues fill. 8 games scheduled.
Age: 16 years & up
Cost: $274

Women's A & BB: Wednesday nights
Coed B: Monday & Friday nights
Coed BB: Monday & Tuesday nights
Coed A: Tuesday nights

Youth Fall Volleyball
September 5-October 29
Participation, fun, skills and sportsmanship come first in this league. Practices are 1‒2 times per week; matches on Saturday mornings and week nights. Grades 2-8. Teams are divided by grades.
Cost: $63
