The Aquatics program provides all ages with the opportunity to learn how to swim and learn about safety involved with being around water. Ages 6 months and up, can participate in our swim lesson program taught by swim instructors throughout the year at various pool locations. You may choose from a variety of classes for beginners to advanced swimmers, including parent participation classes, preschool and level classes, springboard diving, training for lifeguards, water safety instructors as well as private swim lessons to fit your needs.

Take a dip in the City Park Pool! The Pool will be open until 5:30 P.M. Admissions is $3.00 for everyone!

Lifeguard training

This American Redcross course provides entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatics emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personell take over. Online class content 7hr. 25min. Note: Must attend all classes. Skill test on first day; continuation depends on passing. E-book and mask included, $35 certification fee is not. Class not discountable

Lunchtime Splash and Dash

Join intermediate and advanced fitness swimmers for workouts designed to improve strength, endurance and form. Typical workouts vary from 1,00-3,200 yards, with an emphasis on intervals and variable speed training. Note: Participants need a foundation in freestyle and the ability to repeatedly swim 50 yards non-stop. Class not discountable. Participants may pay a drop-in fee of $6 per class
