Fort Collins police were called to Jefferson Park, 210 Jefferson Street around 7:15 a.m. this morning on the report of a female lying in the snow. The caller did not know if the person was sleeping or deceased. Upon arrival officers found the body of an adult lying on the ground in the park. There were no obvious signs of foul play. The Larimer County Coroner has responded and will release the official manner and cause of death once an autopsy has been completed. The Coroner will also release the name of the deceased upon notification of next of kin. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Fort Collins Police Services at 970-221-6540.
