The City of Fort Collins currently provides horseshoe pits at various parks throughout the City. Organized league play takes place at the Edora Park horseshoe pits, 1420 E. Stuart St. Fort Collins Horseshoe Club coordinates summer league play at the lighter horseshoe courts at Edora Park. Information may be obtained by calling the league director, Lenny Scovel, at 484-6090 weekdays after 6 p.m.
Any person wishing to rent the Horseshoe Courts for exclusive use must obtain a Large Event Permit from the City's Parks Maintenance Division at least two weeks prior to the date of such event, program or activity. Permit fees are $75.00 per event for groups less than 250 people, and $150.00 per event for groups larger than 250 people. A $250.00 refundable damage deposit is also required.
With the exception of exclusive use permits, all other use is free to the public and open year round.
To obtain a Large Event Permit please contact the Parks Division office at 221-6660, or stop by the Parks Division office at 413 S. Bryan Avenue, located in City Park, behind Fire Station #2.
