You may assist the City with outdoor maintenance activities through the Outdoor Adoption Program.

You can help maintain trails, parks, or street medians. Your volunteer work helps keep our outdoor areas beautiful and makes Fort Collins a nicer place to live.

The length of commitment for adoption is one year. The time required varies depending upon the site adopted.

If you don't have time to volunteer, a tax-deductible contribution may be given to the City to finance ongoing maintenance areas.

BENEFITS OF ADOPTING

  • Feel good about improving the beauty of Fort Collins.
  • Help reduce City spending by volunteering your labor or making a tax-deductible contribution.
  • Learn more about plants and animals in your area.
  • Receive deserved recognition with your name placed on a sign at your adoption site.
