Field Supervisor(s):
A Parks and Recreation field supervisor will be assigned, if deemed necessary, by the City sports staff to open and close each complex, to assist in emergency situations, and to make sure City equipment and facilities are utilized appropriately. (The 2003 rate of pay is $12.00/hour.) This fee is to cover the supervisor’s wage, F.I.C.A. ($.84), and worker’s compensation ($.43) to be in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (F.L.S.A.). Event and league directors will reimburse the City at $12.00 per hour for the field supervisors assigned to their events. Depending on size and locations of an event, multiple field supervisors may be required. This will be at the discretion of the Recreation Supervisor.
