Parking Services Closed Dec. 4-5, Re-Opening at New Location Dec. 8
Parking Services will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 4 and Friday, Dec. 5 for office relocation. During this time our staff will be checking phone and email messages intermittently.
We will re-open for full service on Monday, Dec. 8 at 144 N. Mason St., Suite 5, just a block from our current location. Parking will be available on the first floor of the Civic Center Parking Garage.
For online payments during this time: You can continue to pay citations online via the Parking Portal.This link opens in a new browser tab
For drop-off payments during this time: Parking Services’ payment drop box at 215 N. Mason St., accepting check payments, will be permanently closed Wednesday, Dec. 3 and replaced by a new payment drop box located at the front door of Parking Services’ new office at 144 N. Mason St., Suite 5, available for drop-offs beginning Thursday, Dec. 4.
For immobilization device drop-offs during this time: Parking Services’ immobilization device drop box will remain in its current spot, located in the parking lot just north of 215 N. Mason St., at the southwest corner of Maple Street and Mason Street.

All on-street parking in the downtown area is free. In the heart of downtown, time limits are in place (see the signs for the length of time you may park). Around the periphery of downtown, you may park for free with no time limits. Also, parking in both downtown parking structures is free for the first hour, with a fee of $1 per hour for each additional hour. View the Downtown Parking Map for additional details.

There are 9,711 parking spaces in the 48-block "downtown" area. Of these, 3,149 or on-street, and 6,562 are off-street. Of the off-street spaces, 1,697 are public (structures and surface lots) and 4,865 are private spaces (private parking lots or private parking areas behind buildings, usually accessed through an alley.) The total public parking supply is 4,846 spaces (3,149 on-street and 1,697 off-street) which represents about 50% of the total downtown.
