The City of Fort Collins announced today that the 4th of July community celebration has new co-sponsors. Blue Ocean Enterprises (“Blue Ocean”) and the Richardson Foundation will sponsor the City’s highly anticipated 2014 4th of July celebration. Blue Ocean and the Richardson Foundation’s generous contribution will help fund the City’s 4th of July community events, including a morning parade that stretches from City Park to Old Town along Mountain Avenue, afternoon and evening musical performances, and a traditional fireworks display over Sheldon Lake at City Park.
The City of Fort Collins looks forward to partnering with Blue Ocean and the Richardson Foundation. Marty Heffernan, Executive Director of Community Services appreciates the generous contribution made by Blue Ocean and the Richardson Foundation.
“Blue Ocean and the Richardson Foundation understand that these types of special events play a significant role in our community. When we bring people together in a positive and safe environment, they can truly celebrate and enjoy this great community.” said Heffernan.
