The City of Fort Collins will start reconstruction of Bryan Avenue Bridge near Club Tico in City Park on Monday, January 20. This bridge has been identified as being structurally deficient, needing replacement to meet current standards as current weight limits preclude the passage of emergency vehicles from the nearby fire station.
Construction will include demolition of the existing bridge, installation of a new precast bridge structure, and roadway improvements. In order to complete construction, a full closure of Bryan Avenue is required starting Wednesday, January 23 until mid-February. Once the new bridge is set, Bryan Avenue will re-open to one-way traffic northbound into the park through the duration of construction work. Access to Club Tico and other park amenities will be maintained; the suggested route is City Park Drive.
Project dates are estimates based on favorable conditions; variances may occur due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
We appreciate your patience during this work. Please slow down and avoid distractions while travelling through the construction zone.
