Our Lands --Our Future Input Opportunity

The City of Fort Collins, Larimer County and the other municipalities within it are studying regional land conservation, stewardship, and outdoor recreation in a project called Our Lands—Our Future: Conservation and Recreation Choices for Northern Colorado. The results of a citizen survey have been released and now, planners are asking for further input through a second survey and an interactive mapping tool.

Everyone is invited to take a second survey to further refine and clarify natural area and open space priorities at http://larimer.org/ourlands_ourfuture/. At the end of the survey, the public is invited to use a mapping tool that allows exploration of lands and conservation values in Larimer County and Fort Collins. Using the tool, you can send a map of your conservation priorities to planners.

Partners in Our Lands -Our Future include Larimer County, the cities of Fort Collins and Loveland, and the towns of Berthoud, Estes Park, Johnstown, Timnath, Wellington and Windsor.

Free presentations about the Our Lands- Our Future project are available for groups and can be scheduled by contacting Zac Wiebe at
