Mark Jackson, PDT Deputy Director, 970-416-2029,
The City of Fort Collins’ Transportation Board is hosting a Panel Discussion on the social impacts of transportation in the community on Feb. 20. Join us to hear panelists representing seniors, the disabled and physically challenged community, and low income populations share their thoughts and questions regarding transportation in Fort Collins.
The City’s Transportation Board is very interested in exploring the impacts transportation has on people’s life and livelihood. Access to jobs, medical care, education and general quality of life depends greatly on transportation. Not everyone has, can, or chooses to drive an automobile. Does our community provide and support transportation access for all its citizens? If not, what are the needs and ramifications?
The Board is convening a diverse panel of community experts to share their experiences and perspectives. Each expert will speak with time for audience follow up questions and dialog
