Biz Ed: A Free Educational Series for Businesses Presents Think Outside the Car, May 16

Fort Collins Utilities and ClimateWise invite local business members to the next free Biz Ed program, Think Outside the Car, May 16, 7:30-9 a.m., Rocky Mountain Innosphere, 320 E. Vine Dr. This monthly series is designed to help business customers of all sizes save money and improve operational efficiencies with an emphasis on sustainable practices and the environment.

Think Outside the Car provides ideas to encourage employees and customers to reach your business through smart, sustainable modes of travel. Topics will include a variety of strategies from incentive programs to facility adjustments that promote smart travel modes such as bicycling and transit.

Also on the agenda is a preview of how the construction of MAX, a Bus Rapid Transit line, along the Mason Corridor will transform the ability for people to travel without a car to major destinations and activity centers throughout Fort Collins.

Alternative transportation is encouraged, as parking is limited. Free bus passes are available; call (970) 416-2032.
