Request for Proposals: City Park Commemorative Art Project (#7387)
FORT COLLINS – The City of Fort Collins Art in Public Places Program is seeking artwork that depicts present day City Park. Residents who live or currently attend school within the Fort Collins growth management area are asked to submit a work of art depicting our Fort Collins City Park that will be used to promote the 100th anniversary of the park and related centennial celebrations and activities.
Each individual can only submit one artwork. Designs must be image-based (not text-based). Artists should submit an image of an original two-dimensional artwork in any media (photography, painting, drawing, collage, etc.). The selected artwork will be reproduced and used to publicize and commemorate the 100th anniversary of part, and related centennial celebrations and activities. Artwork will be reviewed in two age categories: 17 years and under and 18 years and older. One artwork will be selected from each age category. The artist whose designed is selected by the committee will be awarded $250.
Qualifications will be received at the City of Fort Collins’ Purchasing Division, 215 North Mason Street, 2nd floor. Proposals must be received before 5:00 PM on June 1, 2012. Final selection will be made in June of 2012.The proposal can be downloaded from
