City Engineer Migchelbrink to Assume Public Works Director Position in Colorado Springs

City Engineer Helen Migchelbrink announced her resignation from the City of Fort Collins this morning. She has accepted the position of Public Works Manager for the City of Colorado Springs.
Planning, Development and Transportation Director Karen Cumbo stated, “This is a long time professional ambition for Helen. Her skills and leadership will certainly be missed, but the City wishes her well in this next step in her career path. We are grateful for all she’s done for the City in her time here.”
Ms. Migchelbrink was hired in November 2007. Her last day with the City is May 11. A national recruitment search for her replacement will begin as soon as possible.
