Fort Collins police investigators have concluded the investigation into the alleged sexual assault reported to have occurred on January 16 at the Fort Collins Hilton.
On January 16 at approximately 9:15 a.m. Lynnea Dawn Graves (D.O.B. 3/1/76) and Jada Simone Holloway (D.O.B. 11/26/79) reported to police they were missing personal items and believed they had been drugged. They further reported not knowing what had occurred yet believed they may have been sexually assaulted. The women stated they had attended the Baby Bash concert at the Phaze bar in Loveland, 5400 N. Garfield Avenue, on Sunday evening, January 15 and did not recall anything after leaving the bar until they awakened the following morning at the Hilton. Hotel surveillance images show they checked into the Hilton around 1:30 a.m. with three unidentified males.
During the course of the investigation, the three males were identified, interviewed by investigators, and it was determined the parties had engaged in consensual sexual activity. The case was reviewed with the Larimer County District Attorneys office who determined there was not probable cause to charge the men with sexual assault.
As a result of the investigation, the two Fort Collins women have been arrested on charges of:
• Lynnea Dawn Graves - Attempting to Influence a Public Official (F4), and
- Criminal Extortion (F4).
• Jada Simone Holloway - Attempting to Influence a Public Official (F4),
- Criminal Extortion (F4), and
- Criminal Tampering with Evidence (F5).
Warrants were issued and the women turned themselves in to the Loveland Police Department on Wednesday, February 29.
The charges are merely an accusation and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
