Snow Emergency Declared
Released on Wednesday, October 28th, 2009
The City of Fort Collins is declaring a snow emergency effective 1:00 PM today. The parking of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on all streets designated as snow emergency routes. This snow emergency will remain in effect until such time as the weather conditions improve and the roads have been substantially cleared of snow.

The Streets Department will be focusing only on Priority One/emergency snow routes, which are the main arterial streets in Fort Collins. Maps of the emergency snow routes can be found online at fcgov.com/weknowsnow.

Citizens are encouraged to stay off the roads and to drive only in the case of an emergency.
