City Offices Closed Due to Weather Conditions

Due to severe current and forecasted weather conditions, all City of Fort Collins buildings and facilities will close at 1 p.m. today, October 28. Larimer County Offices are also closing at 1 p.m.

This closure applies to all City recreational facilities and programs. Recreational facilities will re-open at 8 a.m. tomorrow unless otherwise announced.

Transfort buses will continue to operate under their normal schedule until 6 p.m. Night service will not be available.

The City of Fort Collins has been on accident alert since mid-morning. Residents are encouraged to stay off the roads and to drive only in the case of an emergency. Having fewer vehicles on the road allows the snow clearing crews working on the streets to do their jobs more quickly and safely and keeps the roads open for emergency vehicle access.
