While spring may be in the air, summer is fast approaching and that means another season guarding against West Nile virus (WNV).
Connect with City and County employees in an informal setting at the WNV Open House to learn firsthand from the experts as they prepare for the 2017 WNV season.
Peruse four stations and explore everything from WNV symptoms, to how the decision to spray is made, to communication plans and how best to protect yourself and your family from WNV.
“Our aim is to reduce the risk of human WNV infection while limiting adverse human health and environmental impacts,” said City of Fort Collins Public Relations Coordinator David Young. “This open house invites residents to take a look at what the City and County do to accomplish that goal.”
The Open House is from 6 - 8 p.m. Mar. 23 at the Foothills Activity Center in Foothills Mall, 241 E Foothills Pkwy. Snacks and drinks will be available. For more information and to RSVP visit fcgov.com/westnile.
