REGUALR PROGRAMS:
Meet the Animals: Tuesdays at 1:30pm, Sundays at 2:30pm. Get up close and personal with the Museum's live animal collection. Learn about exotic and native animals from the experts -- the animals themselves! Free with Museum admission.

Ferret Feeding: Saturdays, 2:30pm. Watch our adorably cute black-footed ferrets tear into their weekend meal! Not for the squeamish or faint of heart. Free and open to the public.

NanoDays! Saturdays and Sundays in October, drop-by anytime between 11:00am – 2:00pm. When things get really small, nano small, it's a whole new world! Join us in the Innovation Lab to see for yourself. Free with Museum admission.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS:
Migratory Bird Banding Station: Weekday mornings, 7:00-10:00am, through October 11. Have a better-than-bird's eye view as the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory bands migrating birds at a station located on the west side of the museum. See real birds up-close and observe ornithologists collecting scientific data for their research. Free and open to the public.

Colorado Astronomy Day: Saturday, October 12, 11:00am-2:00pm. Take off for the stars as FCMoD celebrates Colorado Astronomy Day with special guest Northern Colorado Astronomical Society. Discover the stories behind different constellations - and how different cultures through time thought about those constellations - plus how to find those constellations in the night sky. Then take a look at our home star - the sun - through a solar scope. Free with Museum admission.

Tuesday, October 15 - Tuesday, November 19, 5:30-6:30pm. Engage in stewardship of YOU! FCMoD offers 6 weeks of yoga with different instructors from local yoga studios. Find one you like on us and sign-up for their classes. All ages and abilities welcome, with caregiver/child duos encouraged. Class size is limited, so register now at www.fcmod.org/yoga
PSD Days-Out: Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18, drop-by anytime between 11:00am-2:00pm. Special activities throughout the museum to keep elementary students happy on their day off from school! Free with Museum admission.

Bath Bombs Workshop with Salus Natural Body Care: Friday, October 18, drop-in anytime between 11:00am and 2:00pm. Join FCMoD educators and the staff of Salus Natural Body Care to make your own bath bomb. Learn the science of the fizzies while you select your own scent and color for a customized bath! Free with Museum admission.

Science of Spooks: Sunday, October 27 Drop-in anytime between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Hosting a Halloween party this year? Learn the science behind creating shocking spooks and chilling thrills that you can use, including vomiting pumpkins, ghostly mist, and much more! Free with Museum admission.

Special Effects Make-Up Workshop: Sunday, October 27 Drop-in anytime between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Inspired by some of the best Hollywood movie make-up effects, learn tricks and tips to make your ghoulish Halloween costume the best ever! Free with Museum admission.

Teenie-Weenie Halloween: Thursday, October 31, drop-by anytime between 10:00 and 2:00pm. Halloween fun for our youngest visitors. Come in costume, if you dare! Free with Museum admission.

Killing Time Halloween Party: Thursday, October 31, drop-by anytime between 3:00 and 5:00pm.
Need something to occupy the kids until it's time to Trick-or-Treat? Come to the museum after school for some Halloween fun. Free with Museum admission.
