cmRhdmlzQGZjZ292LmNvbQ== alt="image for press release Police Investigate Fatal Domestic Incident " class="pull-left img-responsive img-thumbnail" style="margin:0 20px 20px 0" /> Fort Collins Police have arrested Nicole Marie Ryan (D.O.B. 3-3-89) on suspicion of 2nd degree murder for the death of her fiancé late Friday evening at their home in the 400 block of N. Meldrum Street.
Ryan called 9-1-1 at approximately 11:25 p.m. reporting that she had injured her "husband" during an argument. When police arrived they found a male in his thirties with a severe knife wound to his neck. The victim died while being transported to Poudre Valley Hospital.
Ryan was taken into custody and transported to the Larimer County Jail on suspicion of 2nd Degree Murder and Domestic Violence charges.
No one else was in the home at the time of the incident and police do not believe any other persons were involved.
The identity of the victim and the official manner and cause of death will be released by the Larimer County Coroner.
