Fort Collins Utilities continues to celebrate the Year of Water 2012—and the 130th anniversary of the Water Utility—at the Big Splash Open House, July 14, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Water Works, 2005 N. Overland Tr. The event will be hosted in conjunction with the Poudre Landmarks Foundation.
Free and open to the public, the Big Splash Open House will offer hands-on demonstrations and activities for all ages. Participants may tour the 1882 Water Works facility and learn about the history of Fort Collins’ Water Utility. Cake will be served at 1 p.m. to honor the 130th anniversary of the Water Utility.
