Two Arrested in Home Invasion Aggravated Robbery

Fort Collins police have arrested two suspects in a home invasion armed robbery that occurred at approximately 9:25 p.m. on May 2, 2012 at 2601 Adobe Dr. in southeast Fort Collins. According to the victims, the robbers had been at the home earlier that day to purchase marijuana and returned later that evening, forced entry into the home and robbed the four occupants at gun point of marijuana and cash. The victims sustained minor injuries during the incident.
During the course of the investigation, the suspects were identified as two 18-year-old Laramie, WY high school students. The suspects were arrested as a result of a joint investigation between Fort Collins Police Services and the Laramie Police Department. Five search warrants were conducted during the course of the investigation; one in Fort Collins and four in Laramie with the assistance of Fort Collins detectives.
The Larimer County District Attorney’s Office reviewed this case and the following men were arrested at Laramie High School by Laramie Police.
Dycus Gregory Kelly, 18 years old (D.O.B. 09-11-93)
• 1 count Aggravated Robbery C.R.S. 18-4-302 (1)(d). Class 3 felony
• 1 count Second Degree Kidnapping C.R.S. 18-3-302 (3)(b) Class 2 felony
• 2 counts Felony Menacing C.R.S. 18-3-206 (1)(a) Class 5 felony
Luke James Lindsey, 18 years old (D.O.B. 04-13-94)
• 1 count Aggravated Robbery C.R.S. 18-4-302 (1)(d). Class 3 felony
• 1 count Second Degree Kidnapping C.R.S. 18-3-302 (3)(b) Class 2 felony
• 2 counts Felony Menacing C.R.S. 18-3-206 (1)(a) Class 5 felony
The suspects’ booking photos are not being released at this time as they will be used in future photo line ups.
Two BB handguns, believed to have been used in the robbery, have been recovered.

The charges are merely an accusation and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
