Prospect Road and Lemay Avenue Each Slated for Road Maintenance Starting April 30

West Prospect Road (Taft Hill Road to Overland Trail) and South Lemay Avenue (Muirfield Way through Trilby Road) have each been selected for resurfacing as part of the City of Fort Collins Street Maintenance Program. A significant amount of preparatory work is scheduled, including concrete repairs, asphalt milling, patching and paving.
On both roads, work will begin to remove and replace damaged curb, gutter and sidewalks at various locations starting the week of April 30. The final asphalt overlays are scheduled for completion in July-August 2012.
During working hours, typically weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at least one lane in each direction of travel will be permitted; however, traffic delays can be expected for these projects, and alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zones.
