West Drake Road Construction Begins Week of April 2

West Drake Road (Meadowlark Avenue to Dunbar Avenue) has been selected for resurfacing as part of the City of Fort Collins Street Maintenance Program. A significant amount of preparatory work is scheduled, including concrete repairs, asphalt milling, patching and paving.
On Drake Road, work will begin to remove and replace damaged curb, gutter and sidewalks at various locations starting the week of April 2. The final asphalt overlay is scheduled to occur later this year.
During working hours, typically weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at least one lane in each direction of travel will be permitted; however, traffic delays can be expected for this project, and alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zone. Speeds will be reduced through the work zone so please slow down.
