Fort Collins police continue to search for the suspect wanted in connection with yesterday’s domestic assault and stabbing. The suspect, identified as 38 year-old John B. Jimenez Jr. (D.O.B. 11/14/71) of Fort Collins, is being sought for 1st degree assault. Jimenez also has two outstanding warrants for escape from the Colorado Department of Corrections. His picture is attached.
The 41 year-old victim remains hospitalized and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries sustained during the assault.

Police Investigate Domestic Disturbance
Early this morning at approximately 6 a.m., Fort Collins police responded to a domestic violence disturbance call in the 2000 block of Huntington Circle.
Upon arrival, police found the female had been stabbed. The victim was transported to the Medical Center of the Rockies for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The male suspect left the scene before officers arrived and has not been located. No further information is available for release as the investigation into the incident continues.
