Native American Awareness Month Community Kickoff Celebration Featuring a Performance by Northern Cree
Friday, November 6, 5:30 – 7 p.m.

The Fort Collins Museum & Discovery Science Center, in partnership with CSU’s Native American Cultural Center and the Associated Students of Colorado State University, hosts a kickoff celebration in honor of Native American Awareness Month, at the Museum, 200 Mathews Street in Library Park.

Featured performers will be the Grammy-nominated Native drumming and singing group Northern Cree. Mayor Doug Hutchinson will read an official proclamation designating November as Native American Awareness Month. CSU’s Native American Cultural Center will share its calendar of events for the month. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
