Hazaleus Natural AreaDescriptionCurrently, there is no public access to Hazaleus, but the future Fort Collins/Loveland bike trail will traverse the site parallel to Shields Street. In addition, east/west connecting trails may be built on this natural area. At Hazaleus Natural Area there are wetlands and native grasslands. Impressive wildlife species have been documented including bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, ferruginous hawks, Swainson’s hawks, coyotes and foxes. HoursNot yet open to the public.
