Fort Collins Cap/Patient Statistics

Initiative 301 restricts the number of medical marijuana center licenses in Fort Collins based on the number of registered medical marijuana patients in Larimer County according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. One license per 500 registered patients is allowed.

This cap does not apply to businesses that were operating prior to the voter-approved ban on November 1, 2011. Applications from prior businesses count toward the cap, but are allowed to exceed the cap.
