The Mason Corridor bicycle/pedestrian trail is a significant enhancement for the Fort Collins community. The trail runs parallel to the MAX Bus Rapid Transit system offering a convenient north/south route for cyclists and pedestrians. This trail provides a direct link to major destinations, activity centers along the Corridor and it links to the city's existing and expanding trail network.
The Mason Trail is complete from the Fossil Creek Trail to Prospect Road and includes connections to the Spring Creek Trail. As part of the BRT project, the Mason Trail will be extending north from Prospect through Colorado State University to Laurel Street. The Mason Trail will link all three of the major east/west trails in Fort Collins.
The Mason Trail is funded by the City of Fort Collins, North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), and Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO).
