Mason Street Conversion
The construction and preparation work to convert Mason Street to two-way operation will begin in June. Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad will be working periodically on Mason Street now through July to prepare for the conversion as well. The complete conversion, meaning cars and bicycles will travel both north and south on Mason Street, will occur in August 2012.
MAX Transit System: Development of New South Transit Center
Transfort is excited to be in the final design phase of the new South Transit Center (STC), which will be located just south of Harmony Road along College Avenue. The new transit center will be the southern terminus of MAX and hub for many other routes. The new STC will provide a Park-n-Ride, ample bicycle parking, and connection to the Mason Corridor and Mason Trail.
