Ignite Fort Collins is part of a worldwide phenomena.
This is a community-based event where 14 brave people get up on stage in succession and tell the audience exactly what's on their mind - what they're passionate about. No product pitches allowed! And, what makes it magical is that every speech is exactly 5 minutes long in sync to 20 slides that automatically advance every 15 seconds Speakers have to keep up or move on! The presentations are meant to "ignite" the audience on a subject – to generate awareness and to stimulate thought and action on the subjects presented.
Think of it as a PoetrySlam with PowerPoint slides. We call it edutainment. Our tagline says it all, "Enlighten us, but make it quick!"
You'll be on the edge of your seat listening to your Northern Colorado neighbors who can't keep a lid on it and we'll all be the better for that!
