The Celts (formerly known as “The Blair Band”) have been performing around the world for 15 years. A combination of Irish born and Nashville based Irish-American musicians, The Celts perform a blend of traditional Scottish/Irish tunes as well as hits by contemporary Celtic artists like U2, Van Morrison, The Chieftains and others with a mix of traditional Celtic instrumentation.

The band’s recent television special, “Christmas With The Celts” has aired on over ninety PBS stations and associated regional networks. Described as "Ancient meets Modern," you will hear haunting, heart-stirring, Celtic Christmas carols that date back as far as the 12th century combined with modern drum loops and synth work. The program also includes popular holiday carols that are performed along with Celtic instrumentation.  “A Celtic Christmas” is a perfect blend of the old and new but with a very earthy warm fireside feel.

The Celts have recorded 8 records and have been featured on a myriad of Celtic music compilations. The Celts will bring audiences to their feet with infectious energy, humor, passion, and masterful musicianship.
