Canyon Concert Ballet Artistic Director, Jessica V. Freestone, has assembled a talented community of dancers and stage craft artists to bring you this year's production of the holiday classic, which will feature choreography from CCB's most praised productions of the past, as well as Ms. Freestone's own choreography, gorgeous costumes, and brilliant new backdrops. Showcasing talents of CCB's company dancers, students, as well as community members and guests, The Nutcracker presents the story of Clara's dream and her nutcracker doll who comes to life as a prince on their journey to the Kingdom of Sweets. Guest artists will include Katherine Lawrence and Aaron Orlowski from Ballet West, and live orchestrations by the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra with Wes Kenney.
