The Greatest Love Story of All Time

The national tour of the Broadway revival of West Side Story is coming to the Lincoln Center main stage March 27-29 for 4 powerful performances. This gritty revival is unlike any West Side Story you've seen before - you won't want to miss it! Featuring direction and choreography that has been recreated and refreshed to deliver the West Side Story you've come to love with a fresh and edgy feel.

West Side Story tells the story of star-crossed lovers Tony and Maria as they struggle to rise above the hatred and intolerance that surrounds them. West Side Story soars as the greatest love story of all time and remains as powerful, poignant and timely as ever. The Bernstein and Sondheim score is considered to be one of Broadway's finest and features such classics of the American musical theatre as "Something's Coming," "Tonight," "America," "I Feel Pretty" and "Somewhere."

The Associated Press says West Side Story "remains Broadway's best dance-driven musical. Five decades have not dimmed the extraordinary choreography or the score that pulsates throughout." Variety says, "The true stars of West Side Story are Jerome Robbins' graceful, endlessly expressive choreography and Leonard Bernstein's score, which still sounds bracingly modern a half-century after it was first heard. The music is a primal force."

Live and Local Arts Support

No doubt you've noticed Townsquare Media's logo appearing on Lincoln Center's season brochure, our playbill covers and even our show posters identifying Townsquare as one of our very special Season Sponsors. Townsquare's sponsorship helps promote important Lincoln Center activities and in return, we give them all kinds of kudos and recognition for supporting the arts!

Townsquare Media is an entertainment and digital marketing services company that specializes in creating and distributing media experiences that connect communities with people they trust, products they want and things that matter. Townsquare owns and operates 5 live and local radio stations in the Northern Colorado market - K99, TRI 102.5, 99.9 The Point, 94.3 Loudwire and Rock 102.9.

We asked Pat Kelley, Townsquare's Market Manager, a few questions about their Season Sponsorship:

What drew you to choose the Lincoln Center for a season sponsorship three years in a row? Being a sponsor of the Lincoln Center fits our strategy to align our Townsquare Media brands with high quality experiences in the Northern Colorado market. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Lincoln Center for many years to come. Lincoln Center and Townsquare Media are both about being a destination for living the good life in Northern Colorado.

Are you a fan of the arts? We are fans of experiencing music, entertainment and fun.

Do you play any instruments, dance, tell jokes? Not really...I'm your classic pragmatic Capricorn. I do, however, enjoy and appreciate great music and theatre.

How is Townsquare Media different from other radio station families in the region? We are far more than just an FM music group....our stations are all live and local. In addition, we have a very robust and popular online presence in Northern Colorado. We cover everything from disasters, to local restaurants to fun lifestyle things happening that make living up here fun. We are very committed to this region and the numbers show it....60% of folks in Northern Colorado engage with our brands, either online or on air, every month.

What would surprise us about Townsquare media? The building where our offices and studios are located in was originally a lumber yard. Please encourage people to stop by! We're right on Main Street in Windsor.

Do you have any good news you want to share? Our K99 "The Good Morning Guys" have won or been nominated for every kind of national smaller market radio personality award since I arrived here last May. There's a lot of good energy with our brands.

What was your favorite Lincoln Center performance you've ever attended? Béla Fleck and Chick Corea...true artists.

We truly appreciate Townsquare Media's 3-year sponsorship and their unwavering support of the arts! May it continue for many seasons to come!
