Go Inside Local Artists Studios

Step inside the private art studios of over 70 Fort Collins area artists June 22nd and 23rd, between 10am and 5pm both days. The Fort Collins Studio Tour is a free self-guided tour of local artist studios. This is your chance to meet the artists personally and see where they hone their crafts.

See sample artwork by artists from each of the participating studios at the Lincoln Center Art Gallery from June 14 – 29. Join us for an Opening Reception on Friday, June 14, 5-7 p.m.

Free Studio Tour maps are available at the Lincoln Center, Aztlan Community Center, Fort Collins Senior Center, The Gardens on Spring Creek, and at Poudre River Library branches or

Gallery hours are Tuesdays through Fridays, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays, noon – 6:00 p.m. The Gallery is closed Sundays and Mondays, and is open for most evening theatre performances. Admission is free.

Art Quilts Are Coming

The New Legacies: Contemporary Art Quilts Exhibition will open on Friday, July 12th, 5-7 p.m. It's the 31st annual exhibit of the most exciting and innovative quilts by artists from across the country. The exhibition runs July 9 – August 31st in the Lincoln Center Art Gallery.

Children's Summer Series Kicks Off Tomorrow!!

Grab the kiddos and come delight in five whimsical performances that will fascinate both young and old alike at 11:00 am Wednesdays, June 12 - July 17 outside on the Lincoln Center Lawn. Sponsored by the Lincoln Center Support League & Fort Fund, this fun series features hour-long performances of drama, comedy, music and dance and is great for children ages 2-12. Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged. (For sightline purposes, blankets will receive priority seating.) Check out the fun acts we have in store!

June 12 - Kalama Polynesian Dancers – These authentic Polynesian dancers specialize in dance from the islands of Tahiti, Hawaii, Samoa, and New Zealand.

June 19 - Jim Jackson presents One Clown Circus –This circus of silliness features magic, broken bicycles and flying fruit in full slap-stick hilarity.

June 26- Buntport Theatre presents "Yesterado" - Late 19th century clad performers usher you back in time to see Colorado history as you never have before!

July 10 - Smirk - Garnering comparisons to Abbott and Costello, physical comedian Reid Belstock and innovative juggling ace Warren Hammond will entertain you with their slapstick antics.

July 17 - Doctor Noize - With his one-man-band of instruments, "the Doc" arranges and records music live and teaches kids that "you can be a big star."

Searching for Volunteers

The 2013-2014 Performing Arts Season is just around the corner and we need help bringing it to the stage! We're looking for fabulous, friendly individuals to fill Performance Volunteer positions. If you love being a part of the action, working with people and supporting the arts in this community, you might be a great fit!

The Lincoln Center hosts over 300 events every year, including musicals, dance, drama, comedy, and many genres of music from a wealth of presenters ranging from local organizations to international touring companies. Many different positions are available for Lincoln Center Performance Volunteers, including Greeters, Ushers, Ticket-Takers, Coat-Check Attendants and Administrative Support.

Community Creative Center
Open Hang - Open House

We're excited to announce that the Community Creative Center at the Historic Carnegie building will open to the public in July with an "Open Hang – Open House" exhibition. Artists are invited to bring their 2-dimensional artwork to hang on the walls on July 3rd. The exhibit will open during First Friday Gallery Walk on July 5th, 6-9 p.m. This inaugural exhibit will launch the gallery spaces at the Community Creative Center, which will also be made available for rent to local artists. Information on renting the gallery spaces or hosting a performance will be available starting on July 5th at the open house and on-line.
