Spring Creek Community Gardens

At the Community Gardens residents can raise their own organic vegetables, herbs, and annual flowers in a 10' x 15' plot in a securely fenced area.

The Gardens on Spring Creek provides several amenities including: a water tank and hoses for manual watering in the spring, automatic irrigation for summer watering, composting bins, a tool shed, a shaded picnic table, and rototilling of soil amendments in the fall. Gardeners are asked to provide their own tools, plants, and other supplies.

Plots are rented out by the season for a $100 fee, which includes a $50 deposit. The deposit is refunded at the end of the season after individual plots have been cleaned and community gardeners have participated in "Clean Up Days". (weeding and mulching pathways, spreading soil amendments, etc...).

If you are interested in the Community Gardens and would like to see them, just walk to the north end of the parking lot. The Community Gardens are in the fenced area - the fence is kept locked for security purposes.

Plots have been filled for 2010
