Project Description
|
Through a collaborative effort with stakeholders in the Downtown River Corridor, the City of Fort Collins sought and received funding from the Colorado Historical Society to complete a cultural resource research project, entitled the "Old Fort Site Cultural Survey Project." The purpose of the project was to research and inventory the history of the area located in the vicinity of the original Fort Collins site. The project consisted of:
Stakeholders involved in this effort included the City of Fort Collins, Downtown River Corridor Property Owner's Association, Historic Fort Collins Development Corporation (HFCDC), Fort Collins Historical Society (FCHS), Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Colorado State University faculty, and others. |
