Summer Camps at The Gardens
The Gardens on Spring Creek is offering opportunities for exploration and investigation of gardening and the natural world this summer. Our camps are full of garden–centric games, exploration and art, music, and cooking ~ especially suitable for children ages 6 to 11 years old or those entering grades 1st through 5th grades.
Your child can expect unique programming each week of camp. Pre-registration is required. Scholarships are available. A $10 discount is offered with a family membership to The Gardens.
Summer Camp is held outdoors in the garden. Children should dress for the weather, bring water, and wear sunscreen & hat (if preferred). Half day camps please bring water and snack. Full day camps please bring water, snack, and a bagged lunch.
Children may be dropped off as early as 8 a.m.; camp programming will not begin until 9 a.m. For afternoon camps, children may be picked up as late as 5 p.m., but programming will end at 4 p.m.
Supervised Lunchtime: Pack a lunch and stay at The Gardens for supervised fun in the Children’s Garden from noon-1 p.m. for an additional $20 for the week. Lunch time is included for full-day camps. Campers must bring their own lunch.
Gardeners and Chefs - Allergy Aware
Come join us for a week of cooking and gardening at the Gardens on Spring Creek. We will spend the week learning and making fun recipes, exploring plants that flavor our foods, and making our own book of recipes to take home! This camp will feature dairy free, nut free, and gluten free recipes.

The garden is crawling with life! Come and join to learn what is living and breathing here in our gardens. In the morning, we will explore the exciting world of insects, arachnids, and bugs. What they do, how they work, and even meet a few close up!
In the afternoon, we will focus on the different animals living in the Garden and Colorado through exploration, games and crafts. Choose to stay the whole day with us, or pick either half day camp.
June 27 - July 1
Are you a budding artist? Do you love to draw, paint, and create? Or maybe you love the theater, plays, dancing and music? This is the week for you at the Gardens. The morning camp will have us exploring and focusing on different types of art each day - painting, drawing, clay and other fun modes.
Our afternoon camp, we will explore music, theater and dance — all happening in the beautiful outdoor spaces of the Gardens on Spring Creek. Choose to stay with us the whole day, or pick either half day option for this week of artistic experiences in the Garden!
Gardeners and Chefs - Conventional Cooking
July 11 - 15
What better way to get to know the garden except through the food we eat! Come join us for a week of gardening and cooking at the Gardens on Spring Creek. We will spend the week learning and making fun recipes, exploring plants that flavor our foods, and making our own book of recipes to take home! This camp will feature more conventional recipes than the first.

Garden STEM Camp
July 25 - 29
Are you fascinated by how things work, cause and effect, science, and the laws of motion and engineering? Investigate all these interests during our STEM camp here at The Gardens.
In the morning, we will be investigating and learning about physics, chemistry and engineering through experiments. In the afternoon, we will be discovering what lives in the Garden, and using STEM lessons to learn what makes it tick.
Choose to stay the whole day with us, or pick either half day option for this week of scientific discovery in the garden.
Colorful Colorado Camp
August 8 - 12
Colorful Colorado! Come explore our state's history and how those play out in our landscapes around The Gardens.
Our campers will enjoy building their own fossils, planting native trees, and making herb butter...just like a pioneer! Our campers will also spend the week exploring grassland to glacial landscapes, as well as incorporating fun activities related to Colorado history.
