Events for the community to enjoy

Gardening on the Cutting Edge
Saturday, January 28, 8 am - 12:30 pm

Marcia Tatroe, author of Cutting Edge Gardening in the Intermountain West, will present "Four Seasons in the Xeric Garden".

Dan Johnson, Curator of Native Plants at Denver Botanic Garden, will present "Meet the Natives: Bridging the Gap between Trail and Garden".

After the presentations, Marcia will sign books purchased at the event.

Annual Spring Plant Sale
Friday, May 11, 3 pm - 7 pm: members only shopping hours
Saturday, May 12, 9 am - 4 pm

Shoppers can select from a wide variety of bedding plants, vegetable plants, herbs, ornamental grasses, perennials, hanging baskets, and color bowls. Plants are grown by the Gardens on Spring Creek and students of Colorado State University and Front Range Community College. Proceeds support horticulture programs at each organization.

ARTiculture: Celebrating Art in The Gardens
Opens Saturday, August 25 with the ARTiculture Fine Arts Festival

The Gardens' annual sculpture-on-loan program features art by local and regional artists. Pieces are displayed throughout The Gardens from August 25 through August of 2013. See the webpage for a listing of 2011 - 2012 artists. Step inside the Visitors Center to pick up a program describing each piece. New this year: the Gardens on Spring Creek and the Lincoln Center will host the first annual ARTiculture Fine Arts Festival featuring fine art vendors, entertainment, art workshops, and kids’ activities. Harvest Festival
Saturday, September 22, 10 am - 3 pm

Celebrate the abundance of the harvest with produce tastings, workshops, a marketplace, entertainment, and kids' activities.

Halloween Enchanted Garden
Saturday, October 27, 11 am - 3 pm

A day of magic and enchantment in The Gardens for young children. Kids will enjoy the talking pumpkin, pond fairies, garden angels, and games.

Garden of Lights
Friday, November 30 - Monday, December 31
5 pm - 9 pm

A festive holiday light show throughout the month of December with tens of thousands of LED lights lighting The Gardens and its whimsical residents. Visitors will also be delighted by the glowing flowerbeds created from LED lights.

Gifts from the Gardens
Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1

Shop the annual holiday plant and gift sale. Select from handmade items crafted by local artisans, and plants grown and nurtured in our greenhouse.
