Youth Volunteer Orientation
Share your love of gardening and the natural world with our youngest budding nature lovers. Your volunteer experience will be guiding youths ages 2-18 in a variety of opportunities.

Date: Thursday, April 25
Time: 5:30 – 7:00pm
Location: Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Avenue
Primary responsibilities:
- Enthusiasm for sharing a love of gardening and the natural world with children.
- Basic understanding of the Gardens on Spring Creek (included in training) and general gardening knowledge.
- Lead or co-lead garden and nature based activities for groups of children ages 2 – 18.
Opportunities include but not limited to:
- Year round programs
- Group tours
- Scout programs
- School break camps
- Birthday parties
